Report

07/04/13.              Pegasus ‘Dragons’ V’s Keyworth United

Team Sheet.

George Cox, Charlie Wilson, Jacub Carter, Lewis Clough, Oliver Flindall, Oscar Gregson, Douglas Main, Finley New.

Finally on a dry and sunny morning with a dry pitch, we welcomed Keyworth United to Ilkeston Road, although I was not too sure how many players I would have today, I knew I had 2 on holiday, but I had 8 turn up which I was great.

We started off well and again we looked the more likely side to score first as we kept creating chances and snubbing out any chances Keyworth created, but it did take a while before we took the lead, with a cracking shot and goal from Oliver.

The 2^nd half, we started off on the front foot again and Oli managed to score after some good team work all round, Keyworth had started to push a little more, but with everyone pitching in when needed our goal was safe and again Oli increased our tally, again from excellent team work and solo effort’s all around, Oscar who was our keeper in the first half, and out in the 2^nd half came off for a rest after a knock, and in this time Keyworth managed to pull one back,  with Oscar back on normal business was resumed and we looked the more likely to score again but were unable to capitalise any further, As always I’m very happy with the whole team,

Player of match this week is, Jacub, gave so much that he couldn’t run anymore, played brilliantly in defence, and even went on some good attacking runs, but well done again to you all.
