Pegasus YFC has had a senior team for a number of seasons now. Around the 02/03 season the decision was taken to start a senior team to allow youth footballers who wished to continued playing football to do so. This has led to a heavy focus on youth in the team and the team continues to develop the talents of youth footballers into senior footballers.
The first few seasons were spent competing in the Midlands Regional Alliance but since the 05/06 season the team have been members of the Notts Amateur Alliance. The 05/06 season saw the team finish just below mid table in 8th in Division 3. However to a large extent the form of the team in the league suffered as they progressed to the final of the Notts FA Minor Cup. Sadly the final resulted in a 3-1 defeat to FC 05 but most there credited Pegasus with a very impressive second half that did not deliver the rewards it deserved.
06/07 saw the team compete in the Notts Amateur Alliance Division 3 again and finish fourth in the league after a season of erratic form. This season also saw the team come top of the fair play league for the division and through the whole league. Despite only finishing fourth as part of a league re-structure Pegasus were promoted to the 2nd division and for the 07/08 season.
