A good start to the season for Pegasus, who started strongly with a lot of pressure in the opposition half. They opened the scoring approximately 11 minutes into the game with a goal from Aaron Price. Five minutes later the score was 1-1 after Gedling took a long range shot which just defeated the Pegasus keeper
Into the second half the opposition scored a second goal, almost a mirror of the first. This seemed to spur Pegasus on and they took command of the game once more. A pass from the wing by Daniel Gillard looked as though it was going to go wide but a slight deflection off a Gedling player brought the score back to equal at 2-2. A few minutes later Daniel Gillard made a second attempt on goal and this time the ball found the back of the net and the score was 2-3. Play continued but no further goals were scored, giving Pegasus the win. There were many good performances from the players in this game with Man of the Match going to Jack Bales for a very solid performance in and around the box and some good saves.
